LaserJet 5200tn is a wide-format tabloid laser printer with ready-to-go networking and a total input capacity of 850 sheets. Prints 35 pages per minute with HP's ProRes 1200 technology (1200 by 1200 dpi). First page prints in less than 10 seconds. Expand the printable area for marketing proofs, architectural plans, financial ledgers, and spreadsheets. Laser printer offers 460MHz processor, 64MB of memory (expandable to 512MB), 250-sheet input tray, 500-sheet input tray, a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and connection via the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, IEEE 1284 parallel ports, and HP Jetdirect Fast Ethernet embedded print server. Control panel displays two lines of text with animated graphics. Features more font choices, intelligent e-forms, secure printing, bar-code printing, SAP/ERP solutions, and job accounting solutions - plus enable third-party solutions - via two CompactFlash slots. Boost performance with an open EIO slot for adding productivity-enhancing options.

I had one of these at the office I just recently got laid off at and decided to purchase one when I started my own business. The price was a little high but just look at what you are getting for that price! It’s a very fast machine and also works very well under pressure! I had a huge project I was working on and didn’t think I was going to be able to get all the pages I needed completed. It was seconds before the deadline that I finished and was able to land my first client. I owe some of the success of that first project to this printer.

Because of the line of work we are in, we often have to print tabloid size documents, and a lot of them. this printer gives us the ability to do that, and we have not had any issues with paper jams. It is a bit noisier than our old printer, but I'll trade noise for jams anyday. A real plus.

I had a system at work that required a parallel port to print, and this was my solution. It was a pretty costly printer, but the cost per page was pretty low. Plus, it works with what I need, so that's worth all the cost.

I like this printer because it can print 35 pages per minute and I don’t have to wait hours for one huge 200 page report to be printed. It is very fast and that is why I bought it. I needed to have something that was faster than what I had as I was waiting hours for my document to be fully printed. I don’t get any paperjams ever and the toner doesn’t leave me broke! Before I was spending tons of money on toner. Great printer and I highly recommend it!
