I bought this printer to replace a Xerox Phaser printer that I had for the last few years. Already I am more impressed with the overall quality of the unit itself. The paper handling mechanism seems more robust. Setup was simple and only took me 10 minutes to have it on my network and printing my first page.

I really appreciate the manual feed tray that allows me to print envelopes without having to remove the paper or make alterations to the print path.

Ten years ago I was developing imaging features for printers like this for another company. At the time, I didn't care for the image quality of the Lexmark products, but this printer is changing my opinion. As long as it remains dependable, I think it is an excellent quality for the price.
