This TV has some great bells and whistles, but can take some getting used to. For example, playing PS3 games on this TV seems like a match made in heaven; and with it's "vibrant" option, you can have the picture come through bright and clear, even in a room filled with sunlight. What I mean about 'takes some getting used to' though, is that the 120 hz refresh rate with the additional frame blending can cause TV shows you're used to seeing look completely different. For example, I'm a fan of 30 Rock and LOST, and both of those shows are shot predominantly hand held and the camera wobble is sort of part of the aesthetic. Well, with the refresh, it compensates by smoothing out this motion and makes the show look... weird. I don't know how to describe it, but it is something that can be disabled so don't worry about it. It is a GREAT feature, however, for sports! Game changing (pun intended)!
i have to pay extra for a wifi adapter thats what 'wifi ready' means? 'cable ready' means i have to subscribe to cable, i thought 'wifi ready' meant i have to subscribe to wifi. i do. but it means i have to pay extra for an accessory that doesnt even show up in the recommended accessories when you're on the product page, and going through check out. tricky. and frown. thankfully, the piece isnt available anywhere, and is pricepointed. the tv probably works great, but i'll never know, returning it.
