Absolutely wonderful with a receiver.

Barring the poor onboard sound quality, for which I docked a star, this is an excellent, quality LCD HDTV. For those who want the full HD experience, it's highly recommended to use this television in conjunction with a HD receiver and surround sound system. The picture is crystal clear, but the resolution only goes up to 1080i (not 1080p.) This is hardly an issue in my eyes; 720p is progressive HD, and looks great at an appropriate viewing distance. Extra settings like dynamic contrast, Dynalight, noise reduction, and Game Mode all contribute to a fast, great HD picture (Game Mode especially, for gamers who rely on razor-sharp response times.) I do wish Game Mode would stay enabled after cycling the power on the television, but this is just a button press away. Doesn't run very hot at all, even when powered on for many hours at a time. Highly recommended for the bedroom or smaller lounge area, when used with a receiver.

I bought this t.v. after having many other Toshiba products. I am not happy with the sound. Most of all there is a smell emitting from the t.v. vents when it is powered on. Smells like hot plastic and it is very annoying. I thought it would go away but after a month the odor is still present? Even after the t.v. is shut off?

Bught this tv for my young son's bedroom. Easy set up out of the box. Hooked up the cable and was very happy with the picture. I know their have been complaints about the sound on this tv bit I am not sure where it is coming from. The sound on the tv works absolutely fine. I have the cable hooked up through an HDMI connection and I can not be happier. For a low end tv this set Is fantastic.

This TV is actually a 1080p with 16:9 not a 720p with 4:4 like TOSHIBA claims it to be they miss printed it I hate the fact people are lieing about this TV threes nothing wrong with the picture or sound this is an excellent TV the only reason people are getting choppy pictures on this TV is because of the type of cable service if your running try to call your local service provider to get a new cable line put in your house or apartment and that will correct the problem it'ts not the TV

bought yesterday and hooked up FIOS tv, dvd/vhs player, Go Theater(similar to ROKU) and even PC notebook. Overall very good TV. MY picture beautiful, I would think if someone has an issue with picture it is either bad tv or signal not good. Sound is not the best but someone suggested changing the sound settings which does help alot(mins the tinny sound). For the price a very good buy. Sufficient inputs for most requirements, It has a usb connection but have not used that or quite understand how at the moment. I would recommend highly but I only have had it less that 24 hours. But my football game on right now is fantasic. You will have to go on line for a manual as the one in the box was just for adding the base or wall mounting.

Toshiba produces good products, but this time with the Toshiba 32C110U - 32 class 720p 60Hz LCD TV, definitively failed with the sound. I want to know whether Toshiba is going to settle this problem in its service centers or should I return this device in the store and ask for my money back.

Not bad for a low end

This is a lower end TV without the bells and whistles. Good picture and yes the sound is not good. Speakers in the back of the set. I made adjustments so it's tolerable. Good for a smaller room but don't put it in the large room without a sound bar.

Great TV

After reading a number of negative comments about the audio on this TV, I installed it any way. I discovered that there is very poor audio if you use the cable connection. If you use the RCA connections there is more than enough great sound. Didn't give 5stars because of this. Great TV for the price.

have had this about 5 months now use it with my xbox 360 works great i just for the first time put a dvd in my xbox and watched a movie 2 nights ago sounded good to me but it is in my bed room to not that that would make any diff.
