Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
1. I use the TV in my living room as the only TV we have in the house. 2. My other TV, a projection TV, of 10years started to be intermittent. I looked at many other brands and boiled my choice down to Samsung and Sony. I thought both had equal quality, but Sony had a higher price, and did not have the Contrast technology that Samsung had. I decided on Samsung because of their technology. Also I was impressed with their Plug & Play feature.3. The only problem I had is withn their documentation. Their Quick Setup Guide did not have any detail on other features such as PC interconnection, lacked a clear setup for older DVR recorders and clear information about connection to my Cable Box. I found everything I needed in th Users Manual except for the hookup for my Cable Box.I have Digtal service from my ISP provider but my Cable box only had a coaxial connection for to TV. I still don't know if I should contact my ISP provider that they need to give my a newer cable box or what.Samsung should reference See Users Manual in their Users Guide see Users Manual for detail information.[@]
