Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I see now that I really should have purchased a Deskjet All-In-One vs. this Officejet printer-only. It may be fine for an office environment where space is less limited, but as a desktop it\'s too big, ink refills are too expensive and it whizzes, clanks and spins for a realy long time after I turn it on.

Works with both PC and Mac. Has low ink consumption. It is supported by excellent technical support. It can print on both sides of the paper if desired for low paper cost. I noticed that it jams more frequently than for example the Officejet pro K5400 that I had for a while. However, the K5400 did not work well with a Mac in a mixed home network. I like both its wireless and wired connections. Print quality is excellent. I recommend it for a home network. Just plug it in your Router and everybody will be able to use it, including Mac users
