This scanner has saved my life in trying to keep the kids entertained. My kids love to scan photos that they find in the newspaper or in a magazine. This scanner works very well and so easy to operate that I don’t even have to help them create their masterpieces. They seem to do very well on their own which is a plus for any busy mother! It is a very fast machine so there is no downtime waiting for stuff to scan. HP seems to know how to make a very well designed product ready to take on my kids and that’s what I like. If it can survive the kids then its passed all my tests!

I bought it because the price was right and the look of it appealed to me. It is doing a good job too. Overall I am pleased. Turns out it is a bit harder to keep clean than I thought, but it is still doing a good job getting all my years of photos onto my computer and website for the kids.

I purchased this scanner because I had spent hard times with my year old Epson Perfection 2580 so I was expecting a lot from the HP scanner. Was I shocked! The speed is predicted by them at 10 sec/slide and the slides are fine-looking. I did have some problem while installing the printer. But it was all ok so far!

If you are a picture fanatic like me then you are going to want this scanner! Its scans so well you would think you are looking at the original! You can also scan all of your slides and negatives and that is a HUGE + for me! I am always doing something with pictures so I have found that this scanner is a godsend in my life!

The only thing I wish it had was a year warranty instead of the 90 day. I am still happy though and would recommend it to anyone!
