Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
This is the best low cost 3D HD camcoder with amazing 3D effects. The issue is that when I connect it directly to my 3D Vizion 240HZ TV, the camera switches itself to 2D and cannot turn it to 3D. So the only way to watch 3D is directly on the camera or upload to youtube, then it will work on TV using the youtube app. But dont know why it doesnt work when you directly connect. Tried connectin it through my Blu ray player, but with same results.

I like it very much the camera, but I buy it to record a event of my church I i have been disappointed with the limitations of the 29 mins. limit of continue recording time, and also with the battery life. I know that is a camera designed for short movies, but I think that Sony would work to remove the time limit, and to give us the option to connect the camera to an ac adapter that help us to record long time videos. Anyway, I give it a four stars, because, in general it is a good camera.

Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
I bought 3D camera on sale not really expecting much (I have 4 other Full HD Video Cameras). I have been nothing but impressed by the quality of the video in spite of the small aperture (it out performs all my other cameras). There is barely any jump in the shots when panning or when filming action (other 1080 cameras skip frames and scenes jump). This thing charges on your computer or cigarette lighter via USB, then it quickly downloads to your hard drive. It's in my front shirt pocket and always ready for action! The side by side 1080 3D files are crisp. The cons I've seen are that there is very little option for adjustments and the auto adjustments tend to lean a bit to the dark side - but I can live with that. I can say a lot more in favor, but overall, this little thing really Kicks Tail and puts you into the 3D world of video for a fraction of the cost of a camcorder.

Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
The 3D stills and v-clips are fantastic. HDMI to Sony 3D LED TV is amazing (get the long cable). Entire 7 day vacation on Kauai captured on the camera; no need to download, it's ALL there. The Bloggie took a beating on Cat-boat, on the beach, and on the trails. BUT the 3D TV does not read the files by itself. USB chip on PS3 to the rescue. AND there is no way to link the 3D video clips together. Needs a low cost 3D video editor and some updates for USB / Home Network file sharing on the TV before this product offering is "real". I have faith that the rest of Sony will catch up with this bleeding edge of technology. AND the "USB Charger" also charges your TV's rechargeable 3D glasses - bonus!! Finally - the critics of lens spacing; WRONG - it's perfect for the design of this camera - Fast, handy, and dynamics are where this camera will thrive.

Does it really need a Flash?

Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
I took a movie in a dark theatre without light except what was on stage and it came out great. Just like what I seen live. Only issue is that it took a few seonds to focus in low light so maybe a sensor would give faster response, but in regular light it seemed to work fine. The beauty of it is that it takes 12.5 megapixel still photos while filming video without interupting the video, all in High Def! Fit in front pocket with no bulge like a small cell phone.

Still wondering about 3D
By cliffandy

Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
The auto-focus in the current Bloggie is a deal-breaker if they don't fix it in this iteration. The design and convenience are great but useless without a focused image/movie. Even these less expensive options would benefit greatly from a simple spot-focus/meter option. I know it affects the price-point but the camera feels so inadequate without a little control for the user.

Comments about Sony bloggie MHS-FS3 High Definition Digital Camcorder:
Still wondering why it doesn't have flash yet. If it had flash I'd pre-order in a heartbeat. Hopefully, the auto focus isn't out of control, like the regular bloggie touch.
