Good Drive, but...

Comments about Toshiba PA3845U-1DV2:

I bought this just a few days ago, and it works exact;y as advertised. This was to add CD/DVD functionality to a netbook that was bought for me, and I did my research before purchasing, passing over another Toshiba product. It is quiet and quickly makes discs, however it has a tendency to scuff discs as they are ejected. Not a deal-breaker since the scuffs can be cleaned fairly easily with an ultra-fine rubbing compound made for the purpose, but it will quickly become a hassle if I have to do this for every disc that I put into it. So far this occurs only on DVDs, but if it does it with CDs as well then I may have to consider returning this and ordering something else. The netbook itself works perfectly and I'm surprised that I'm having any issues with the external drive.
