Purchased on 3/13/2011 as an addition to our new 3D TV. The set up went very well and connection to our wireless network was easy. The only issue was getting our very long network password into the set up. This was an issue with me and not the set up process. Have not used it for 3D yet but did use it to play a Blu-Ray version of Avatar. This unit combined with the Sony KDL-46HX800 and a high end sound bar made Avatar stunning. Cannot wait to use the other features. Great product and a very good price.

Great product

OS is very similar to the ps3, this is a big plus as it keeps the learning curve flat. My wife can operate very easily. Also the android phone app is just what I was looking for. Had to trick remote to allow surround receiver volume control but after that works great. Youtube full screen is awesome, Hulu+ works perfect. Coming over from PS3 for this everything is great.

I bought this to replace an earlier Sony Blu-ray player and I'm very pleased with the quality. The best feature is an automatic software update download feature. When I first attmpted to use NETFLIX, my first movie quit playing half way through the movie. I noticed a message on my sony tv to please "update" my wifi software, I did, and "voila" problem solved.

This player is smaller in size than I expected. But again, Dynamite comes in small packages. This baby feeds my KDL60nx720 television, and the picture is beyond words. 3D content is even better! It streams wirelessly off my router, and is amazingly quick and full of awesome apps. Perfect as usual, from Sony.

I have had this blue ray player for 3 months now and I love it!! The wireless feature is great for streaming netflix, qriocity, and pandora. I have no complaints!! I am definitely happy I went with this one.

I have an older Marantz receiver that does not support HDMI. Therefore, my only option is coaxil dig. The unit should have provided for optial dig.

Great player but not so in streaming

I'm satisfied with the player's performance and design but not so with streaming movies. I use my Wii to stream Netflix instead... Streams without a hitch. Registering the player was a nightmare. It took me a total of 4 days to access Sony Essentials from my part of the world but I finally got in. Thanks Sony for the headaches.
