Comments about Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD Blu-ray Disc Player:

This unit has failed after a few hours of operation. It did work well, thought the very slow booting was annoying. I knew about the slow boot and could live with it, but the failure is very disturbing - and I don't know what to do about the failure. I am afraid to sent it anywhere. I am guessing that it will cost me more than it is worth to repair the unit. I am thinking that I will simply buy a cheap new player and throw this junk away.
