Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
So far, so good. Except for the speaker that gives out a tiny sound but I think that's because the product is small and ultra-thin. Over-all, however, I'm happy with it. That being small, you won't believe it is full of really great features.
With someone like me who doesn't have a good sense of direction, I don't get bothered bringing it along with me because it's small, thin, and light, I can practically put it inside my pocket or purse and bring it everywhere I go. Truly the ideal companion.
It also presents very clear map details, directions or locations. The screen is wide, despite its size and noticed that sunlight does not reflect through it making it easy to read.
Just as I have expected. Thumbs up! :-)
