I've had this unit for about three weeks and I think I've made a very good purchase. I took my time setting this unit up and had a little trouble keeping it connected to my network, which I've resolved by naming my network and setting my HP to my network encryption key. Nice! I had trouble after I allowed an update from HP, so I disabled all automatic updates....would recommend not to accept the updates. The menu took a whie to get use too, but now I can navigate to what I want. I've only used the copy and print functions without any problems and will soon hook up the fax and try scanning some pics. Don't let the larger size and some noise (not bad) keep you from getting this unit. My first HP Printer/Scanner/Copier 750 is STILL going strong and I hated to upgrade, but I'm glad I did. Would buy again.

Prior to purchasing this printer I owned a smaller hp printer which worked well until the end when it started jamming up all the time. So, I upgraded thinking since i was paying 3 times as much I would be getting a better grade printer. Wrong. This printer is just ok. I can't say I would purchase another one. I use it in my business and print quite a bit every day. It jams up on me about once a week. It also isn't nearly as fast as the specs say it should be. The print quality is decent. It also is much louder than my previous printer - not good to be printing while on the phone. I am not a complainer, but this printer did not meet my satisfaction.
Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer:
Just google hp 7780 and you'll see the same thing over and over again. There are numerous problems - the most common being a printhead error message which disallows you from using it at all. Try calling HP technical and you won't be buying a HP again either.

Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer:
As a loyal HP buyer (100's of purchases) I was HIGHLY disappointed. It makes me rethink all of the HP products not just printers. Ink cost is unjustified. In addition it requires print heads. They are $50-$75 each and very unreliable. I have low page count on my printer yet have replaced print heads several times. Now the printer mechanics are faulty. HP has no explanation but would be happy to sell me a new machine. NO THANK YOU!

We bought this product for a small office. The only problem with it is the automatic document feeder always jamed or wouldn't take paper. We watched videos and cleaned it and then HP sent us a replacement. The replacement worked better but still the automatic document feeder still will not take paper 70-80% of the time.

Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer:
I purchased this printer because of the features. I wanted to have the legal paper option, 2 sided printing, and Bluetooth connectivity, etc. It has been challenging to setup. Evidently, the HP drivers for Vista 64bit do not support Quicken and I had to download an emulator driver, which still is temperamental. I have had to reinstall the driver after it disappeared from our network. Printing checks has been my biggest challenge. Trying to place one check in the tray and having it print without skewing or jamming has yet to be accomplished. I can imagine that most small media may have this problem. However, I do like the front loading trays. Also, everything may run much more smoothly on a 32bit operating system.

I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up long term. I have had no problems with the wireless connection or duplex mode. It seems slower than what I expected but am still very pleased with the product.

Comments about HP Officejet Pro L7780 Multifunction Printer:
Scanner has very good quality. But whet you want to print a pdf it's like there's some parts missing. If you want to print something in normal paper in color the printer doesn't match the colors well.
