I just received this printer and set it up reasonably easily. It's in my second residence, so I haven't used it much; however, so far I like it much better than my HP printer, which is a piece of junk. The Lexmark is quieter and prints efficiently, without going through a million gyrations after each task. I haven't used the scanner yet, and I'm not sure how much ink it uses. I was just happy to get it working in approx. 30 minutes--for me, that's a victory. All I can say is: so far, so good!
